Description:

Terminal Guards are used where there is a risk that somebody could come into contact with a boiler flue terminal i.e. less than 2.1m above ground, a balcony or a flat roof to witch people have access. The guard should be fitted such that no part of the guard in less than 50mm from any part of the flue terminal. The guards are available in round or square versions and with either a zinc plated, powder coated or stainless steel finish depending on their application. Zinc plated terminal guards are used on conventional gas boilers and are not suitable for use with oil or condensing boilers. Powder coated terminal guards are used with gas condensing boilers and are not suitable for oil boilers or non-condensing boilers due to the high temperature of the exhaust. Stainless steel terminals can be used on condensing, non-condensing, gas, oil & wood burning flues.
