Description:
The Carlo Poletti 2 & 3 Way Mixing/Diverter Valves can be used in conjunction with a remote thermostatic head sensor as a Thermostatic Cylinder Valve. Thermostatic Cylinder Valves are used in domestic central heating systems to control the temperature in the hot water cylinder between 20°C and 60°C, without the need for electrical activation. When the hot water reaches the set temperature in the cylinder the valve closes diverting the hot water in the heating system to supply the radiators only, saving energy and reducing the risk of scalding. The sensor is typically located one third of the way up from the bottom of the cylinder.
