Description:
Domestic Cooker sockets are used to connect from the gas pipe work to the inlet of the cooker hose. They are suitable for use with all 3 gas family types. They have a ½” Male BSP fitting on the inlet which connects to the gas pipework and either a bayonet or micropoint connection on the outlet. The bayonet and micropoint connection incorporates an automatic shut off valve which stops the flow of gas if the cooker hose is disconnected. They are manufactured from brass and conform to the requirement of BS BS669 & EN15069.
